Vid, which hiking enthusiasts can climb via a steep and demanding trail. Immediately behind Bošana is the Special Reserve of Forest Vegetation Dubrava – Hanzine. This protected natural spot, the only one in the area of Pag town, preserves the remains of the original black oak forest. Vegetation here has developed immunity to the island’s harsh climate, characterized by strong winds and salt spray, and research has indicated the presence of valuable genetic material never before recorded in forestry. There are no hospitality facilities in the village itself, but the nearby town of Pag will fulfill every need for shopping or entertainment.
